Yes! All HAIRtamin products, other than our MOM formula, are effective for both women and men.
All HAIRtamin formulas help promote healthy hair growth, follicle strength and reduced thinning and breakage. While it does not cure alopecia, balding or hair loss, it has been shown to improve overall hair health in those suffering from alopecia and balding.
Most hair vitamins on the market contain Biotin which is a well-known essential hair nutrient, but our bodies are complex and require more than just Biotin to perform optimally. HAIRtamin vitamins contain clinical strength 5000 mcg of Biotin plus other key vitamin, minerals, super antioxidants including Turmeric, Aloe Vera, Vitamin C, D3, Zinc, Selenium, Rosemary and super fruits to help fill nutritional gaps in our diet to support healthy, thick, strong hair from the inside out.
Hair growth is a process and not something that happens overnight. You should start taking a hair growth supplement when you feel you’re deficient in nutrients that you’re not readily getting from foods or at any point where you feel your hair health is impaired. HAIRtamin MOM is a complete prenatal & postnatal formula with added hair benefits. It is recommended for women who are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, postpartum, or breastfeeding. As always, you should consult with your healthcare professional before starting any dietary supplement regimen.
No, the hair on our body doesn’t grow in the same manner as the hair on our head. Hair follicles on the body get a molecular signal to only grow to a certain point. This is different from hair on our head, which can grow continuously. Our vitamins are carefully formulated to stimulate growth on existing follicles on the head and not in otherwise hairless areas.
Our formulas do not have any known side effects, such breakouts; however, every body is unique and metabolizes certain ingredients differently including biotin. If you experience any unintended side-effects, you should immediately discontinue use and consult your healthcare professional.
HAIRtamin is a clean and effective, herbal supplement that supports your body with nutrients it needs to growth and maintain longer, stronger, thicker, overall healthier hair. Because our formulas are free of drugs and hormones, you won’t see adverse effect if you stop using it. What can happen however is that your hair will slowly go back to the state it was in before you started nourishing it with HAIRtamin
While HAIRtamin supplements do contain multiple vitamins; it is not considered a complete multivitamin. Certain ingredients that are commonly found in multivitamins like calcium, vitamin K and iron for example are not included in our formulas and may be needed for your body. Please check with your doctor to see if taking any of our vitamins as your multivitamin is the right choice based on your individual needs.

HAIRtamin Advanced Formula is our strongest, most formula, packed with 22 essential hair nourishing vitamins, minerals and herbs to support healthy hair from the inside. It contains maximum strength, 5,000
mcg of Biotin, Vitamin A, B Complex, C, D3, Zinc, Selenium, Turmeric, Rosemary, Aloe Vera and more. (see ingredient list here) You do not need to supplement with additional Biotin but if there is other vitamins your body needs such as Calcium, Iron or Vitamin K, you would need to take those separately as our Advanced Formula does not contain these ingredients.

Both formulas support healthy, strong, thick hair. You don’t need to take both together but you can certainly alternate between the two formulas. Just don’t double up the dosage and take both in the same day.

Yes! HAIRtamin MOM is a complete pre and postnatal vitamin with added hair nutrition. You would not need additional prenatal or postnatal. As always, please consult your doctor before starting any new supplement regimen especially as you are pregnant or have an existing medical condition.
HAIRtamin MOM contains Folate which is the natural form of this vital vitamin to prevent neural tube defect in pregnant women. Unlike the synthetic form: Folic Acid, Folate is natural and better absorbed by the body. HAIRtamin MOM does not contain Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). You would need to take this supplement separately if your doctor recommends it for you.
While some amount of hair shedding is common postpartum, by taking HAIRtamin MOM, you should see noticeable improvement in overall hair health including less hair fall/thinning and breakage.
HAIRtamin MOM is formulated for women to take during pregnancy and through their first year postpartum. If you are still breastfeeding after the first year, we recommend continuing with HAIRtamin MOM. Once you’ve stopped breastfeeding, you can switch to our Advanced formula or Gummy Stars.

Yes! Our SCALP SERUM is effective on all hair types and textures, including color processed hair and those with a sensitive, dry, oily or irritated scalp. If you have a specific concern about introducing a scalp serum to your routine, please consult your dermatologist.
While there are no known harmful ingredients in our formula, please consult your doctor before using this product, especially if you have a known medical condition, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. Only your obstetrician can advise you on what’s safe for you, but, we can tell you that the reason that many serums aren’t safe for pregnant women is because they contain hormones. Our SCALP SERUM is 100% natural, drug and toxin-free and does not contain synthetic hormones.
Our formula is completely natural and drug-free. It contains clean, nature-derived herbs and botanicals to nourish and sooth the scalp while providing an optimal environment for healthy hair growth. With that said, each person is different, and some may be sensitive to some the natural ingredients in our formula. If you are concerned about how your body will react to our serum, we recommend doing a spot test on your inner arm to check for sensitivity. Yes! After treating all target areas with our SCALP SERUM on a clean, product-free scalp, you can use your standard styling hair products.
